RESCHEDULED – Cornbread + Moonshine Tour to Historic Granville

Cornbread and moonshine? Does it get much more southern than that? Join us for a day trip to Historic Granville for their annual Cornbread + Tennessee Spirits Festival featuring artisans, corn milling demonstrations, food, vendors, live musics, and distillers from the Tennessee Whiskey Trail.

Itinerary:

  • Pick-up in downtown Cookeville – Tennessee Central Rail Trailhead (look for the bike arch across from the Cookeville Depot Museum (116 W Broad St, Cookeville, TN 38501)
    • Boarding: 9:20 a.m. CT, Departure 9:30 a.m.
    • (Reminder: Don’t forget your I.D.’s; also TTUC is not responsible for parked cars. Guests are encouraged to comply the City of Cookeville’s public parking policies).
  • Depart to Historic Granville, “Tennessee’s Mayberry Town”
  • 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Shop and explore the Cornbread + Tennessee Spirits Festival.
    • Included in your tour ticket:
      • Festival Admission includes parking, access to festival, as well as all museums and historic buildings.
      • Lunch – Cornbread Lane opens at 11 a.m.
      • Tennessee Whiskey Trail tasting access –  Starts at 12 noon
  • Depart to Cookeville at 3:15 p.m.
  • Return to Cookeville by approximately 4:00 p.m.
  • All times noted are in Central Standard Time.

BOOK THIS TOUR:

  • This tour is for 21 years of age and older only.
  • An onboard cooler is available with complimentary waters.
  • Guests are allowed to bring drinks onboard, but note space is limited. Small personal coolers are allowed, as long as they can fit under your seat and do not block the bus walkway. 
  • Wear appropriate attire, especially footwear for festival walking. The event is outdoor, so plan accordingly.  Weather in Tennessee can vary. Tour to take place, rain or shine.
